Space Saver Ideas - Living Room

I often get many emails about not having enough space to work with. That the home is too small and that there is no way to fit anything on or around so that decluttering is utterly useless. Here are a few tips to help improve your space and allow you to do more with less.

Living Room

• Install a towel rack on the inside of your linen closet door
• Purchase or remodel your existing entertainment center to be optimized for space
• Use boxes that will stack perfectly and cover them with wallpaper that match the colors of your room. At the top you can place some round plywood and you can use some colorful fabric to use it as an end table
• Hang Stereo Speakers on the wall to keep them off the floor
• Place flowers on top of cabinets and hutches, hanging plants in the ceiling are also good options as well
• Build a windowseat in deep set windows, Use that for storage
• Use tall slim bookcases to help with your books

Whatever you decide to do be creative with it. Try to do anything and everything you can to help maximize the space that you have. There are always unique and creative ways of storing things. I would love to hear some of your unique storage ideas.
