Even the most organized and motivated of individuals sometimes find it hard to accomplish those menial tasks to stay clutter free. It is definitively easier for some and decidedly more difficult for others. So I sat down and thought about it a bit. What is it that makes it so difficult for some and so difficult for others.
Most of us have the same tools, ie hands and feet and a functional mind. So what is it that makes it Hard to keep the clutter away?
Here is a list of things that helped me understand the cluttered home mindset.
Laziness - Laziness is probably the easiest thing to blame. Sometimes we just don’t feel the need to do it.
Procrastination - This could probably be coupled with laziness but it also should be in its own category. That infamous, I will put this off until tomorrow enemy.
Lack of Time - I don’t have enough time to do it.
Lack of Motivation - I don’t want to do it.
Distractions - I should be doing that but instead I will be distracted by this.
Lack of Energy - A tiring work day can easily remove all of the life out of you.
These are just a few that I came up with. I would like to hear from you on your personal reasons why you can’t keep clutter free? Submit a comment or an email and lets see if we can’t defeat that clutter bug together!
Looking forward to hearing from all of you
Keep it Clean!
