Getting Rid of the Biggest Clutter Culprits

There are moments in your life where your home or abode is in its tip top sparkling shape. This is usually accompanied by a big party or some extraordinary social function. This is good and wonderful but in a few days that sparkling and once beautiful home returns to its usual cluttered residence.
Many question why that is and are frustrated by the fact that it does return that way without any apparent fault to its owner. The problem is that there is no routine to help control the biggest clutter culprits. By setting up a routine you will be able to attack the clutter that causes the most problems.
Step 1 Identify the problem areas:
Everyone has a big clutter area problem, some don’t like to do the dishes routinely, for others its the loathly hamper and for others still it is “OPM” or other peoples messes. Identify which areas that tend to give you problems. Once you identify what that area is you can make a plan for it.
Step 2 Shedule it:
Now that you have identified which areas are your worst you need to schedule it into your cleaning regiment as your top priority. Make sure you handle the part you hate the most first. Do not procrastinate with that specific area because if you keep putting it off it will just multiply and get much worst. Example: If you have problems with the dishes, make sure that you schedule to keep the sink clean every single day after dinner or after breakfast.
Step 3 Organize it:
Try to stamp out clutter at its source. If you have a problem with incoming clutter, or clutter that is created from new items that are being brought in from the outside setup a in/out location. It can be a shelf or a cabinet designated towards items that don’t have a home yet. The in section, should be for those items that you need to find a home for.
If you find that you do not have the need for an item any more that item gets placed in the out section. This item could be discarded, given away to a friend, donated to charity or even sold at a yard sale, or even sold online on ebay.
Step 4 Follow Through:
Not everyone is an organizational freak, nor do they have the drive to constantly be on top of everything, and since we all cannot afford our own home cleaners it is important that we stay disciplined and follow through with the clutter plan.
Motivate yourself, bribe yourself even if you have to. Treat yourself to something special if you stick to your plan over an extended period of time. Award yourself to an outfit you have been eying for a while, or maybe some alone time all for yourself, or maybe even a special luxury item that you have been coveting. Using a reward is a very easy way of motivating yourself to stick with it.
Clutter does not have to control your life. Stick with it and stay Diligent.
Keep it Clean!
