Cleaning Your Windows and Mirror, With Club Soda

A cost effective and simple way to clean mirrors and windows is to use club soda. Just plain club soda. Put some (undiluted) into a clean spray bottle. Spray onto window or glass to be cleaned. Then wipe well with a clean cloth, finishing with a clean dry cloth to get a spotless shine. I like to use microfiber cloths for this.
Remove Paint from your Windows

If you are painting around your windows and you get paint on your windows, don’t
despair. A quick way to get the paint off of your windows is to wait until the
paint has dried. Then, mix dishwashing liquid and vinegar together. Wet a cloth
and dip it into the liquid and then dab the paint with it. Wait a few minutes
then use a hard edge to scrape the paint free.
Remove Nail Polish Stains From Your Carpet

If you spill nail polish on your carpet, reach for the nail polish remover. Put some remover on a cotton ball and blot (don’t rub) the polish up until it disappears. Next, blot the area with a moist wash cloth to remove the nail polish residue. Next time you are painting your nails, put a piece of newspaper under you.
Prevent Your Furniture Legs from Being Damaged When Cleaning Your Carpet

To keep your furniture legs from becoming damp while you steam clean your carpet, place your furniture legs in sandwich baggies. This is especially important to do if any of your furniture legs are made out of metal. This will keep your metal furniture legs from leaving a rusty stain on your carpet. Keep the baggies on your furniture legs until your carpet has dried thoroughly.

It must be said that carpet cleaning is not for everyone. Some people simply
cannot abide to have to clean their carpets while others still, find that the
effort needed for carpet cleaning is simply not worth it. Some people will
even go to the effort of doing everything in their power not to clean their
carpets.
